To obtain a death certificate you must have a vested interested in the record. That would include power of attorney for estate of the deceased, etc. If you were not married at the time of the deceased death, you can not obtain a death certificate.

You must have the proper identification to obtain a death certificate. Our agency prefers a driver's license or state ID.
