County Ditch / Tile Assessments
Randolph County property owners are assessed a fee for maintenance of the county drains/tiles which are in place to manage rainwater and snowmelt runoff in the county. The assessment is performed by the County Surveyor.
Each property owner will see an assessment on their property tax bill.
The assessment is based on the number of acres (typically $2/acre, $25 minimum), or the parcel minimum (typically $25) for land up to 12.5 acres. Some parcels may have differing assessments due special circumstances.
