Courthouse
The Randolph County Courthouse is a beautiful building located in downtown Winchester. It utilizes an entire city block bordered by Highway 32 on the north side, Main Street to the East, Franklin St. on the south, and Meridian St. to the the West.
The courthouse grounds are used during community events and feature the War Memorial (2nd tallest in the state of Indiana), the Doughboy Statue commemorating World War One, and a World War Two era tank.
The courthouse is scheduled for a major renovation and expansion beginning in the summer of 2010 so much of the county business will be conducted in the Courthouse Annex across Franklin Street.
